years of age Must have a clean driving and criminal record Full Job Description Steemmy Transit is currently hiring qualified Compassionate Drivers For Non-Emergency Medical Transportation.
Who will report directly to the Manager and Dispatch.
Duties:
Maintain clear communication between Members/customers, Appointment facilities, and Dispatch maintains a positive and professional working relationship with co-workers, and employees located at other facilities using principles of good customer service Transport patients to various locations in our medical transport company vehicles.
Heavily emphasize safety and patient satisfaction.
Wheelchair lift operation.
Inspection of the vehicle before and after each shift.
Sanitation of equipment after each use.
Maintain 100% accuracy when performing trips.
Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspection of the assigned vehicle prior to beginning route & at the end of the shift.
Operates smartphones with access to email and the internet.
Show true compassion for the disabled and elderly.
Working conditions:
Drivers operate vehicles for extended periods of time.
Drivers are outdoors, in the heat, cold, rain, and wind.
Drivers lift, squat, pull, and push.
