Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Assistant to join our team.
As a Service Assistant, you will provide support and assistance during funeral services and events.
Your role will involve various duties, including bereavement support, funeral directing, and heavy lifting.
This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Assist with event planning and coordination for funeral services - Provide bereavement support to grieving families - Assist funeral directors in organizing and directing funeral services - Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving caskets and equipment - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the funeral home facilities - Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during services Skills:
- Strong customer service skills - Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate bereavement support - Knowledge of funeral directing practices and procedures is a plus - Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
