Assistant Maintenance Systems Specialist
An Assistant Maintenance Systems Specialist works in Vacaville Facilities Services to maintain and operate information systems and procedural programs used to execute facilities maintenance activities. Manage related documentation for department personnel and end users.
Work Performed: (This description not intended to be all inclusive)
o Work in SAP and Calibration Manager CMMS systems used to manage maintained assets, schedule and track maintenance activities, collect and report key maintenance data and metrics,
o Perform data entry functions required to manage maintained assets and create and close routine and non routine work orders.
o Create, maintain, and audit cGMP document files relating to the maintenance, repair and calibration of maintained assets to ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance requirements.
o Assist Facility Services Department by providing information and data needed to coordinate, plan and schedule routine, non-routine and shut down maintenance activities.
o Assist in providing routine reports of facilities and maintenance related information to management, service requestors, service providers and QA/QC.
o Provide administrative support to Facilities Services personnel and management on an as needed basis.
Normal Job Requirements:
Skills/Knowledge-
o Experience with CMMS such as SAP or Calibration Manager a plus
o Proficient in the use of a wide variety of computer applications including Word, Excel, Access, FileMaker Pro
o Working knowledge of cGMP relating to equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
o Excellent organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Able to work on multiple activities simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
o Able to work with minimal supervision as a member of a self directed team.
o Customer service oriented.
Assistant Education
o AA degree, Certificate or equivalent in Facilities Maintenance Management, Asset Management, Data Processing, Business Administration or a related field a plus.
Assistant Experience
o Preferred with experience in a maintenance or calibration organization with responsibilities for asset management and/or computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
