Department Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Support Personnel coordinates the schedule and efforts of the assigned department, assists with administrative tasks as requested by the supervisor, communicates with students, staff and faculty regularly and assists with preparations for functions as needed.

Preferred candidates will have a High School Diploma although some college experience is preferred. At least 2 years experience as an administrative assistant is desirable although candidates with work experience in a related field would be considered (admissions, curriculum development, proprietary education, etc). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Other requirements include:
? Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
? Strong leadership abilities

? Proven positive team work
? Typing/Keyboarding at least 50WPM

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
